This is my first blog, I’ m very excited to share my views about this place, Jaisalmer.
I am living here since past 1 and half years. I came here in June 2020, it was very hot and got the house on top floor. Sometimes I felt like burning all over but in November weather became pleasant here we started roaming and exploring places.
First we went to Jaisalmer fort also known as sonar kila nearby from my home. The fort’s massive yellow sandstone walls are a tawny lion colour during the day, fading to honey-gold as the sun sets. It is good place to visit. Raj Mahal (Royal palace), Jain temples and the Laxminath temple are the main attraction about this fort and also this is the only fort where people live inside it. They are living their and open restaurants, Rajasthani dresses shops, food items shops etc. for tourists. People go to fort top from their they can see entire Jaisalmer specially either in sunrise time or sunset time as it add its own magic beauty. They take photographs with cannons their and enjoy the beauty of Jaisalmer. Outside the fort there is small market. Few special things to eat are poha with buttermilk, kachoris, dal pakwaan, bhang biscuits and thandai, kadhai wala kesar doodh, falooda, tandoori chai.
Jaisalmer fort seems like palace in fairy tales, such a lovely place.
“Full moon, sleepy trees, winters nights, its beautiful scene from my eyes,
Cant show you, cant explain you , its my sight..
Lets fire on the wood, sit behind it, ball with freinds in coldy nights,
Raise your toast, cheers with all happiness, forget all the dirty fights..
Its Jaisalmer my love , the golden city of India, lighten up with golden- yellow light💞”
